Had the exact same thing and was convinced it was something BAD. Turned out to be the part number tag on the driveshaft whipping around in the tunnel under the car!

Thanks DrumReaper ... sadly I don't think it's the glove box, if I open the box while driving and let it hang, same issue. Pressing on it when closed isn't doing the trick either. Seems like it's "deeper" than the actual glove compartment.
