Shift, you do not have to remove the scoop for oil changes. There is about 6" of clearance from the oil drain plug to the front of the scoop. When you drain the oil the scoop is too far back to catch any oil.

I received my springs today! I was # 57 on the list. Now to figure out when I am installing them.
