Does that make it look less like the extractor from last gen Camaro?

In fact, it does... The camaro was simply 4 individual squares, whereas the mustang is more of a grated look

But, you know, if just the fact that it has a air extractor makes it look like a Camaro, then I guess it also looks strikingly similar to a Mitsubishi Evolution

You've convinced me. It is a bold, fresh and unique design

Only looks that way because of the black middle of the bumper cover. If it were body color I think it'd look better overall.

Yeah I don't like it either. I'm not sure about the vents outboard of the headlights either. I guess I'll have to see it to know.

I prefer the blacked out version. It accentuates the "fangs" and snake motif...

I like the blacked out bumper, hopefully that's a option just as the roof has been on the 350.

I would agree with above. Looks better with the "black-out" effect

I guess I'm in the minority. I really like the body color bumper.

Not using the new headlights disturbs me. On the 350 and the 500.

Can anyone else think of any year of any car that did the same thing?
Sold two current year cars, one featuring the current design and the other featuring last year's bits?

Someone maybe mentioned the first ZL1.

It's so odd. Surely, the GT350 was to be done in 2017, and the GT500 was to come in '18 with new body features? It just feels like they screwed up the timing, and were like.. F it, just run the GT350 another year just like it is.

At least it has the new lights.

I'm on the fence. On one hand the blacked out version looks a little derivative, but maybe I'm finally starting to like that "new" Toyota styling that's been around a number of years now.
