Very minor oil consumption until 6500 miles, then tapered off to near zero. 8500 miles now. Zero issues, no noises, no unusual vibrations, perfect paint, everything works perfect.
Good information! Did you change anything in how you used the car from break in through 6500 miles, or do you think just the miles helped to seat the rings more?

Thanks for the thread Screamer

I’m still under 10K, no noticeable oil consumption. No track days yet. Xmsn gets hot but I’m still trying on how I’ll address it. No issues except the panel gap that seems to have stabilized.

Other than that and with the help from this forum, I have the car that I want.

I think people don’t want to jinx themselves. Lol
Hahahha...this is me 100%. Otherwise I’d be stating all the things you guys have stated; minimal oil consumption (one quart in ~4,600 miles), minor panel gap, gorgeous paint, etc, etc...but I don’t. So I won’t post in this thread and say those things...about my car. I was never here.

I've got very, very little to no oil consumption on my R with a little over 11,200kms (~7,000 miles).

My engine has been fantastic, very consistent temperature wise, no piston slap that I can hear, no funny noises, runs very strong and sounds BAD ASS! :D

I honestly can't remember! I believe one was the Michelle Bollaird or something similar, that initially leaked info on Facebook about the Voodoo continuing production past MY17. Can't remember even roughly the name of the other builder, have to wait until I get home in two weeks to check

12k in. H2102: last owner put a bird through the front end and sold it without replacing the AC condenser then traded it to a non-Ford dealer, as well as popping a tiny dent in the fender from inside trying to get the new PPF installed in a jiffy (only way I found the other issues).

The car (after that fiasco) had to have the thermostat and thermostat housing replaced before it would stop throwing codes. Since then, several AutoX (SCCA SFR) and no other issues.

28 track days and 18k miles on mine. Won't say anymore as I have big track days planned and I'm not going to tempt the engine Gods .

I didn't get it. Aren't they all great engines, at least until they blow up? :)
I've got over 50 years on my Starliner and '67 and they ain't blown and never will. The engine in my 2018 is a better, more reliable engine. :)

Only about 5,500 street miles but no issues so far. Checked the oil this weekend with about 2700 miles on the change and it's down 1/2 qt. No strange noises or issues. AC working OK - not particularly strong - but working. Car is about 2 yrs old now so if the AC goes out I hope it does so in the next 12 months.
