Anyone care that a gt500 is coming?

No, but I'm enjoying reading peoples speculation and throwing my own 2 cents in from time to time. It's been pretty boring here lately.

Sometimes less is more. Nobody ever seems to get that, it always seems they equate more with more. I mean, take a GT350 to Lime Rock, and ring it out. It is possible that 700+ in a Mustang might be overkill. At Daytona, that is another story. Basically each car will be suited to go faster in certain environments. Granted if you want to do rolling drag races on the highway HP wins it.

I had a 662 HP 2014 GT500 and I'm not impressed by that level of HP any more. That car was a handful to drive everywhere that wasn't a track because of the power. If I get interested in the GT500 when it finally comes out for real, it'll be because of something else it does, not the 700+ HP.

Yeah, just a few mild mods on a 13-14 would have it over 700 crank. The number itself isn't impressive. If it can make that much AND hand the ZL1 LE1 its ass on a road course then I'll be impressed.

I think I'd rather swap my 350 for an R at a reasonable price versus trying to get a GT500 at MSRP.

Happy with what I have and not into always chasing the newest thing!

I just feel gassy and bloated. Probably the burrito I ate at lunch. I'm not going to blame this on the GT500

No FPC = don't give a flyin fug = makes the gt350 somewhat special

Dealers are sure excited about the GT500, all the ones I'ver talked to want $25K-$30K Over sticker!! :headbonk:

Im extremely content with my GT350. Exciting to see if the GT500 will bring any cheap mods and/or cheaper Rs

FMVSS111 doesn't regulate the size of the camera screen.

I love my GT350R and it won't be going anywhere. Im definitely excited to see Fords answer to the Hellcat and ZL1. However I probably won't be getting one unless I get my pay doubled and bigger garage.

I can see a bit of 350 owners trading in, but also a lot of 13-14 GT500 guys who want the most powerful thing. Will be interesting

As for me, I have no interest in getting into anything else. In the teaser vid, I see a ZL1 1LE style rear wing.....butt ass ugly. The R’s wing is how you do a proper wing that looks badass IMHO.
