Hi guys , how accurate is the track app in our cars, I have a 16 GT 6 speed 3.55, with a CAI ,borla s type catback and a tune , cars making about 410 whp, last night I took my car to a truck stop and weighed my car, was 3720 lbs . I ran like 10 times using the track app and best I got was 13.1 110mph.
I'm launching around 2000-2500 rpm easing the cluch and fast shifting. Can anyone please tell what you guys are doing and how?

Wheels are 20 inch staggered 275 35 20 and 305 30 20 nitto g2

I'd add BMR CB005 that act as "torque arms" & This should get a 3.55:1 pony to 12 sec. 1/4 mile passes.

I installed the steeda vertical links and wheels hop is really reduced, plus I don't dump the clutch and try not to get lots of wheel spin when launching

Edgar,

There are a list of combos we can put together to achieve optimal results, including our Stop the Hop Kit which one of our most popular kits - vastly eliminating wheel hop to keep the rear planted, you can take a look at this article by Billy Johnson - driver of the Ford GT of whom tested this kit & had this to say - http://www.motoiq.com/MagazineArticles/ID/4570/PageID/11919/TESTED-Steeda-Anti-Wheel-Hop-Package.aspx

We took our Mustang to Homestead-Miami Speedway to see what effect increasing the bushing stiffness had. Wheel hop is virtually eliminated and the rear of the car no longer feels like it’s going to drop out and fall off the back of the car when launching, doing a burnout, or even a 180-degree U-turn. When the rear tires do lose traction, the breakaway is smooth and does not upset the chassis.

We were impressed with the improved precision on track. In the corners, the rear of the car feels more responsive, predictable, and ‘in-phase’ with the front of the car. At corner entry, the rear now takes ‘a set’ in the corner at the same time as the front and carves through the corner without lagging behind due to deflecting subframe bushings. On throttle, the rear of the car is a lot sharper and feels as if the rear spring rates are stiffer, but rear grip was actually increased slightly from turn-in, mid-corner, and track-out.
Best Regards,

TJ

Track app always reads slow IMO. Take it to a track and find out for real. If you run 13's @ 110 with 410 whp, you are doing something wrong lol. I have never used the app during an actual 1/4 mile run though.

I think my weakest link are the tires they really suck and have no grip even at 27 psi, the G2s are great for daily but as soon as i give it some gas I'm all over the place lol I should of bought the 555r .
