Hi Ciaran,

I was going to buy them on eBay but I ended up getting a set from “MyStangMods” here in Victoria.

They then freighted them in - the price was about the same as a price online from the US ( plus duty).

I also got a set of locking nuts for them free.
Great, thanks Paul.

They sure are a nice looking wheel but then I’m a bit biased as running the same wheels with MPSS.
Yes they are and I must say they look so much better in the flesh too.

I was umming and ahhing about 20” Project 6GR’s but, for me, these have such a fantastic OEM look to them

You made the right decision. These do look OEM and based on the GT350.

The 6GR's look so plain in the hub/bolthole area.(My opinion.)

This arrived today so on it went, very happy with quality and the fit. I have to thank my lovely wife for it :)
Next will hopefully be the coil covers and the radiator cover in CF.

Love the work you've done in the engine bay - quick question where did you get the white line strut tower brace?

Thank you Paul :) Removed the 5.0 badge of the original cover yesterday and sikaflexed it on as a temporary measure.

Looks awesome,
Thank you Mustang madness.

Gday vince, Possible Mustang motorsports, or overseas depending on price.

Thank you Paul, its slowly getting their should look a treat once all the carbon parts are in. Strut tower brace is off e-bay. Bit of a stuff up with that one though, I ordered it ( as It had been described as fitting a 2015-2017 mustang) and when it arrived the unit wouldn't fit as the mounts were completely different. Checked the whiteline page with the part number and sure enough it was for the gen 5 mustang. So I had the option of sending it back for a full refund or option 2 which was to make new mounts. So that's what I did.

This weeks mods:

  • Painted front splitter, plus stripes
  • Painted side skirts plus winglet
  • Painted rear valance
  • Painted brake calipers
  • DBA Wave Rotors
  • Drake hood vents (with cut vent)
  • P51 Wheels (20*10, 20*11)
  • Michelin Sports 4S Tyres (275/35/20 & 305/30/20)
And this should bring to an end exterior mods and handling mods.

Further engine work may come later... but might stay as it is.

Very nice great job. Did you paint the splitter and side skirts or get them done?

Crikey... I can't paint!

:cwl::cwl::cwl::cwl:

I had them professionally done. I may have had the need to have my car in at a panel shop for some other work... and whilst she was in, I had all the painting and other work done at the same time.

Lol bugger me I was in the same group as you TeamDenno, your car looked absolutely stunning by the way very neat and a great theme happening. Loved the painted splitter and skirts so much better than the plastic look. Very well done mate.
