It's been WAY below freezing here in the DC area since Christmas Day but finally got to 42 this afternoon so I had to take a top-down cruise at lunch. With the wind deflector raised, side windows up, seat warmers on high and cabin temp at 75 it was MAGNIFICENT! I usually wait until it's at least 45 degrees to go top-down but "cabin-fever" made me drop it today. What's everyone else's minimum temp to drop the top?

I metro in to work... time I get off I don't want to ride anyplace... traffic is a mess.... love the metro.

I am floating the idea with myself to telework Thursday though.... get some top down action and wash it.

45 degrees minimum as I do not have a wind defector.

Just spent tonight after work doing a quick detail job on the paint just in case I get to take it out in a few days.

And the '18 even has a heated steering :-) Had to cruise top down today as well - anything over freezing is ok.

I guess I’m spoiled a little with the weather here in the Bay Area. Low to mid fifties for me. Love night cruising with top down.

No driving with the top down for me...

Here in Minnesota the snow plows would fill my vert up to my neck.

I almost always run down to the grocery with the top down, it's about 2 miles. Window up, heater on full blast, seat heaters on max - when I get out of my car, wearing shorts, with the top down ... I get a lot of "WTF?" looks :D

In Florida...you wear the mask of a man hiding his identity...up here in Joisey, you would wear it so your nose doesn't freeze and fall off!!!

Top is up..til it hits 45 degrees!

I have driven when cold, not sure the lowest temp... but I ride my motorcycle as long as it's over about 42ish, so no biggie in the vert LOL. I think I have driven a vert it in the mid 30's a couple times

OMG, I laughed out loud this morning :D

"Do you think he's a wanted man with a mysterious past?"

"No, he's just cold as f___" :D

It's supposed to be in the 70s tomorrow, heck, I might even put on a wetsuit and pull out a longboard

With my Audi TT I was a wimp: low 50s in the day and 60s at night.

Super Bowl fun run?

I saw someone in a black GT convertible with the top down driving around on Thanksgiving Day here in the Twin Cities (MN). I am waiting for an out-of-towner to be driving around with the top down on Super Bowl Sunday. Temperature in the AM to be -10F and about 8F by game time.
