I have a pair of OEM illuminated sills (17 GT) I bought as an extra set to try a project but decided I don't want to mess with it. Will sell for $45 shipped if anyone is looking.

So I got my hands on a set of 4 wire MyColor sill plates and installed them as well. Is there anybody in here in the N Alabama area that knows how to use ForScan that would be willing to lend a hand. Either changing the values for me or showing me how to use ForScan? There area few edits I would like to do besides the sill enable but, I'm really paranoid about screwing something up.

There is a wire connector, not sure if that is the harness you are talking about. Out of town for a few days will post a pic when I get back.

And my apologies, it should read $45 plus shipping. I got them as "take offs" from eBay so just trying to break even on my cost.

That's awesome! I presume you had to change the programming?
I've been waiting to do this since my LE was delivered (11/24/14)! The idea of splicing any of the wiring was not for me. But if it's a simple plug & play, and a little programming I can definitely handle that! Any advice you have would be much appreciated!!!

Looking for someone who knows... I have a 2015 with the 50th package. I got a set of pull off illuminated sills from Shelby and they are in the car and plugged up to the factory harness as if it came that way. A local shop has a snap on scanner tool that he is saying I can use to turn on the circuit for the sills. I do have a tune on the car and I am wondering if I will need to do anything special besides plug it in and enable the circuit. As in, do i need to get there and put the stock tune in and then turn on the circuit and then reload my tune? I do not know the scanner model at this time.

We just installed the illuminated door sills on my brother's 2015 convertible. He bought the door sills three years ago and tried to get them to work but we didn't know about ForScan. We changed the BCMB code from 0140 0000 01 to 0142 0000 02. The program automatically set it to 0142 0000 03 so we went with it, everything seems to work including the door sills! :)

Thanks to 911Nemesis and others who paved the way!

This is great validation, I am about to pull the trigger on the Custom ones from Ford. I can't wait to get them on the car.

boB That's just more added inspiration, thank you!!! I'm going to pull the trigger and (finally) purchase my limited edition sill plates for Karma, my 2015 50 year LE.

I have another question for you, unrelated to the door sills. Where did you find the chrome trim for the seat controls? That looks great, really shows off the beautiful seats!

THANK YOU again 11 Nemesis and ALL the others who have paved the way to help keep many of us LE owners very, very happy! Leave it to the hands-on guys & girls who have worked tirelessly to find a solution. Thanks for all who took the risk to play with it, on your pride & joy, so that we can all enjoy ours as much!

Read just about this entire thread. Can anyone confirm if the illuminated sills will work on a base Sync1 Ecoboost Mustang (non premium, no MyColor) WITHOUT having to tap the purple/white wire on the kickpanel connetor per the instructions. I'd rather not tap a wire, if I didn't have to.

I posted a pic a few days ago, I searched that #, and here's the link--
http://www.ebay.com/itm/2015-FORD-M...CATION-SYNC-MODULE-2-3L-I4-1002-/272092489268

contact the seller and try to get the VIN. then use this link to decode

https://beaverdamautos.com/windowsticker.php

as far as tying the sill to the footwells, they'll be on all the time , not just when the doors are open. All of those wires are together back at the module. Even the switched dome trigger.

http://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html will get you to some wiring scematics, use 2014 Mustang-Interior Lighting-Ambiant. The colors aren't exact and the GY/V (dome)isn't shown but you can figure it out. That is where I was going to add A RGB controller if I hadn't found this module.
This is the controller I was testing
http://www.ebay.com/itm/131093745549?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

The controller refers to a master device that changes the wiring of the main circuit or the control circuit in a predetermined order and changes the resistance value in the circuit to control the starting, speeding, braking, and reversing of the motor. It consists of a program counter, an instruction register, an instruction decoder, a timing generator, and an operation controller. It is the "decision-making body" that issues commands, that is, completes the coordination and direct operation of the entire computer system.
Controller model (AD8311ACBZ-P7)

Resurrecting this old thread, but out of curiosity, did you ever get your LE Sill plates ordered/installed MandM9999?

Looks like us LE owners can still get the serialized plates 5+ years later.... lol

Never did get them installed I'd love at input from those who did though!!! I just didn't want plain white, wanted what was originally expected.. The sills to match my ambient lighting. Is that too much to ask?
