Air Conditioner Issues

Just picked up mine from the 'Dreaded' Dealership visit.
13,000 mi.
AC started blowing only hot air, (Compressor wasn't kicking on)
They found the leak, and replaced the HP tube from Compressor to Condenser.

evaporator went last yr and was replaced. no at 12k miles blowing hot and humid intermittently. brought it in and they said compressor had a leak- replaced compressor- get it back not it only blows cool air- doesn't get cold- brought it back to be looked at again...and their best guy was working on it- PS- had them replace a few lug nuts and they chipped my rim while doing it- now they will be repairing that too- DEALERS SUCK- they just don't care about the customer-

AC dryer went bad...broke up and clogged lines.

'16 GT350 Tech. 12,500 mi.

Started to blow warm, smelly air for about 20 minutes. Then it worked as normal. No issues since, but will be getting it checked at the next oil change unless it goes out again sooner.

Just had my evaporator replaced. Warm air out of driver's side.

Up to letter Y on replacement evaporator assembly.


Replaced glove box door for damage during replacement.

Had seat blower TSB. Definitely tell a difference on the seats.

Had my entire AC system replaced due to the compressor debris in the system.

Yeah anyone got a copy of the seat blower TSB ? What years it it applicable to, all of them ??

My A.C. was repaired for the 5th time and is now finally working properly. Have had a new compressor and evaporator as well as lines and recharges. Turns out it was the high pressure switch that was the culprit. Also had the seat cooler TSB done and I can't seem to feel any difference. The seat bottom is cool and the back has no cooling at all. Same as when it went in.

I've created an Excel spreadsheet with all A/C problems based on member feedback in this post. I'm not sure where to share it, in the meantime if anyone is interested in obtaining a copy please PM me.

My 17R just lost ac while at the track yesterday. 94 degrees made it a hot one without it but I suspect I was a smidge faster ;). Not sure if the issue yet, at the dealer now. Pretty said to see so many issues with nearly new cars like this.

I think the bearing is going out on my compressor. I can hear it making noise.

Should probably get that taken care of before it grenades the entire system.

On the seat I don't think the back is supposed to cool or heat also. Just the seat cushion you sit your *** on.

I worry mine is starting to go out or it's my imagination. We've been in or right at triple digits and even with the A/C turned on full blast the air is barely cool enough to not die but it's not comfortable.

Hi everyone
Like many of you, my 2 years old GT350 already had:
- leak in the AC system (hose apparently)
- compressor died a few months ago

Now it seems that I have water dripping inside the car on the passenger side, near the center console...

Any idea what that is ? Thinking about the hose where water is supposed to exit the car after using the AC but not sure...

Hope AC system does not die as I have a 2k road trip starting tommorow under hot weather
