I am at a cross roads now that my 2200SL is maxed out and I am curious what you guys think about the switch to a larger head unit or turbos? It seems like most people that switched to a larger head unit eventually go turbo. I would love to hear feedback from guys that were running a YSI or JT blower and what they thought about it. Eventually I am going with a built motor and shooting for 8s. I am also curious if you need a tighter stall when stepping up to a large head unit like YSI.

I will be curious to see how much you like the car after you go with a tighter converter. How hard was the install? What turbos did you go with? I am thinking I can get 4000-4500 for my blower kit and ARH headers. The turbo will be 9-10K without injectors.

Install is definitely time consuming took me alone in my garage almost 30 hours... Recently switched to ball bearing turbos make sure you go that route if you do.. new 18 Intake, tighter converter and ball bearing turbos hoping for 9.50 or so @ 15psi.

That should be no problem. I have been a 9.6 at 142 in good air on the Paxton. Are you on E85?
