drag racing is all about the first 60"ft and first second of the race..launching a car smooth on stock tires takes some talent....now after the first 60 ft. , I agree no talent whatsoever..i was at Muncie dragway

I was about to check that myself...that is excellent.

Yea that kills me lol,u have an auto how hard could it be to drive it down the quarter lol.

Heating up tires that arent slicks or drag radials decreases the grip. No idea why you are doing anything more then a light spin to clean them off.

Ok well if you've done it in a stick shifted car. What's the hardest part of drag racing in a stick shift car? The launch right? It'll be the same in an auto. When either car is moving. It's just driving straight. No real skill involved in rowing your own gears. If you've been doing it for more than a week.

yes the car is magna ride, as stated in the op.there was was some wheelhop during the slippage in the 1-2 shift..a couple hops

Thats untrue. We'd have more stick cars running single digits if that was true.

12.5@115 was best I could do stock although in 3000ft DA and a poorly prepped track.

Is that your best all time? I know you race all the time and this seems like a huge difference..you on Pirelli's or Michelins? and if you all want to put car on list, put it on list my timeslips up. I'm ordering e-85 tune and cai and thermostat this weekend and i'll go back out and post up here in a couple weeks
