So in process of getting my tune files for my new tune saved over to my Ngauge, I have come into a problem.

Files loaded fine into the custom file on the Ngauge folder. When I went to see if they loaded onto the Ngauge, the two files read not decoded. Terry (Beefcake) mentioned Lund may need to unlock my Ngauge from my 15GT to use on my 18GT. Fair enough but now...

My laptop and my desk top wont recognize the Ngauge like it did earlier. Now it just says "Drive D or E" or whatever USB I have it on. It also just endlessly loads and never opens. Before it would instantly open as "Ngauge" and work like any other normal file.

WTH happened?

Do I need a reset?

Thanks guys!

Are you plugging the Ngauge directly to the PC or are you using the micro SD card and an adapter?
Asking cos I use an adapter to convert the micro SD to normal SD (I’m not tech savvy, the terms might be wrong).
Point being, sometimes I have the same issue and even other times it’ll say “card in drive x needs to be formatted”.
A quick clean of the card fixes it for me.

Directly into the pc.

It was working/reading fine earlier tonight. As soon as I loaded the two new Lund files that they sent, and couldn't be read, the Ngauge is basically not being seen by the pc. It again shows as being whatever drive but it is not named Ngauge and wont ever load to a point where the files open.

Have you tried contacting Lund via their FB customer only page?

This is the page you want.
You’ll need your Ngauge serial number to join.
Once in, just create a post, tag Lund/Nardi/whoever into the post and they’ll get back to you pretty damn quick.

Solved...

Huge thanks to Jon Lund, John Nardi and Dakota at Lund and Justin at E-Motion.

These guys spent part of last night and all day today trying to track the issue.

Burkey...funny enough... formatting the SD card was the trick... big thanks to you as well!
