Well that didn’t go according to plan...couldn’t get the car to hook off the line without pedaling it and short shifting 1-2 myself. Tried a few different things including leaving in 2nd, but the initial hit was still too much for my 19’s and I couldn’t put down any better than a 2.0 60’. Mph was still in range (142-143) on the big end, but I was down 3-4mph from the shitty first half. The 11.111 pass was against a hellcat so that was fun driving around him after I gathered it up off the line.

On a positive note, the car ran really well and the logs I got looked perfect! 19* timing through gear 1-4, .76-.78 lambda on both banks and the pcm was giving me -5.5-6.5* the entire pass so Jon J.R @ Lund Racing nailed the tune!

Next order of business is getting a cheap 17” drag setup so we can put the power down!
Damn ! That's some serious MPH! Get that sucker hooked and you're quick as hell. Keep us posted.

Yea she freight trains hard! Now deciding on drag wheels is becoming a chore with all my options...price started low as possible and slowly came up into the low $300 range (wheel only) and now I’m looking at welds lol. Just need to figure out what I want and pull the trigger, then she will lay down some real et’s!

Nothing much to update on aside from adjusting the blower tensioner and giving the car a once over from underneath to make sure everything is still where I left it. No leaks, rattles or any other issues at all...car is 100% perfect!

Now I just need to get some in car vids and decide on what wheels I’m going to rock for my track setup so I can let Santa know...

Finally got some in car video! GoPro took a shit so Ive been dealing with them trying to get it resolved, but in the meantime I found a pretty cool adjustable phone mount that works perfect.

This is a 3rd gear roll on pull (in Mexico) from around 3k rpm into 4th gear with 19* of timing, 18psi and 7680rpm 3-4 shift...

Haha! Man that pulls...I was fixated on the speedo and once you are into boost it hauls the mail!

How are you liking the n-gauge mount on the top of the steering column? Do you find yourself ever needing to see the info on the dash center display?

Yea it pulls like a freight train once boost hits...mph and rpm are winging once it’s in 2-stroke mode hahaha. It’s really hard to see how much speed and the actual rate it’s picking it up since the windshield has a bad glare, but I’ll get some more Mexico and track vids once I get my 17” setup on the car.

I actually really like the steering column mount because it’s nice and clean with no visible wires and all the vitals I need to see are on the Ngauge display anyways. I sometimes look around it in the mornings to check oil/trans temps before I beat on it, but other than that I never need to. Plus I still have all my vents lol.

I decided to do a little more dipping yesterday to clean up the interior and satisfy my ocd so I yanked the airbag, masked off the dash plaque and went to work. Several light coats later and it turned out pretty clean!

Changed out the factory start button to a red GT350 piece which has a nice smooth gloss finish and looks much better imo. Oh and it adds 20whp too!
