Trust me, i try but LA traffic sux lol
Could it be the compressor sound? Have you tried to use the AC?
Seems to be pretty loud noise for itself to go away.
It too clear to be inside the engine.

That sounds like a sticky lash adjuster to me. Somebody else recommended changing the oil and I second that. You probably won't see anything in the oil as typically, a sticky lash adjuster is not a "wear" problem.

Try a higher quality of oil, maybe a synthetic.

Back in the old days, we'd do the trick of running a quart of automatic transmission fluid through an engine with sticky lifters. ATF has detergents in it that would clean out any deposits or gunk in the oil galleys and 9 times out of 10 would relieve a sticky lifter. However, I don't recommend doing that with your car. Modern ATF and certain bearing surfaces today aren't a good mix.

If the problem ever comes back, you may have a problematic lash adjuster and replacement is the only option.

Does that sound louder under the car or in the engine bay. My buddy's 2017 GT recently had the entire engine replaced with a new one because the dealer couldn't figure it out. They took it apart like 3 times and couldn't figure it out, though they were saying lash adjuster at first or a wrist pin, or piston slap but never narrowed it down. Sounded almost exactly like yours.

Put it up on a lift and pinpoint the exact location of the sound. If you are able to rule out the possibility of it being an exhaust leak, then try some seafoam.

We’re you able to find a diagnose or what was wrong with the car? My car is making the same noise, with Ford performance tune, and is being taken in to dealership.
