How Low Can You Go

PSIs;

PP car, driving around the side-streets of Baghdad.....er.......Houston TX.

These aren't roads, they're obstacle courses. Mine fields. Defense works against cars traveling on them.

So, I've spent a week plus driving around at 36PSI O' nitrogen, which was my highway/MPGs pressure for the drive here from NOVA, and I couldn't take the punishment any longer. I finally stopped and got a pressure gauge and dropped them to 28PSI.

I think I'll go to 26PSI.

It's just temporary, and short drives. I'll be outta here in another 6 weeks or so.

Come on, it's not that bad lol. I run 32 on all 4 corners here in Dallas. I just stay away from the inner city because it's better for 4x4s than cars.

Have to pick your route sometimes. I run 32 in the Shelby and I'm fine. My wife however has hit two pot holes in the last month causing tire failure. Luckily the Discount Tire warranty has saved me $330 a tire for the A7 in the last month.
At 28 or 26 you will kill some tires when you hit the big pot holes here.

And maybe a wheel. Depending on how hard you hit it with too low tire pressure.

You definitely need to pick your routes. The toll roads are all glass smooth. The East Beltway is outstanding. The only real problem roads are in the Montrose area, and anything North of I-10 under 610. Even Navigation Road is good now.

What you need to do is get out to the I30 Toll road in Austin and enjoy that 85 mph speed limit before you go back to the VA.

28, and probably even 26 won't cause any damage. Since 32 is standard, it's not that much lower.

I do focus to miss all the big stuff. Serving and swaying left and right.

It used to really be the rainbow brigade but gentrification has driven most of the regular gheys out. Now just rich gheys live there. The rest are young hipster artsy types that drink craft beers and eat a lot of brunch. In other words, people who can't afford to live in Austin.

Well, they need to gentrify the damned roads!!!!:rant::rant:

32 psi works for me for both street and road course work.
