project car

thinking about starting to build something other than effing with my mustang. currently have a 2000 tahoe and my 2017 gt. anyone have any ideas of fun/easier project cars to start with?

cant decide if i want to build a drift car or a 4x4

Fox Mustangs make great project cars IMO. They are cheap, light and plentiful. There are lots of new and used parts out there as well.

depending on how much $ you want to sink into it, early Z's (240/60/80), after the initial outlay for the car are generally pretty cheap to mess with, and an l28et swap can be done dirt cheap and you can get the car to about 300hp 350ish tq for about 2k. plus they're lighter than most anything you can get nowadays and the L series engines are bulletproof.

Build a badass Jeep. Can always sell it and make out on it if you want later. People up north pay big bucks for a rust free, unique looking Jeep done right.
