I just ordered one of those and some 1/8 inch tape in bass boat blue. I'll let y'all know how it works when it shows up in my mailbox.

One last thing, my lip is only 1/4'' wide that I'm applying the vinyl to. Is that cutting it too close to get 1/4'' vinyl or is it perfect? Or should I get 1/8'' instead? https://i.imgur.com/otHneME.jpg

I’m sorry. It was 1/8”. . It was a roll with 2 stripes on it. Get a single 1/8”. It will be much easier. It is not easy to do. I have years of collision shop experience. Try it. You have nothing to lose but some time and a little money. ��

Any good ebay link for 3m 1/8'' pinstripe vinyl? I can't seem to find any..

I can't justify buying from them knowing it costs like $10 on ebay including shipping. After shipping and with stripeitall it costs about $70 with them.

For the DIYer with no stripping experience, the tool is the bomb...just do it when it's warm out.

Absolutely true, but i might as well admit since i've annoyed everyone enough here that my gf is helping me. She's a 10/10 DIY and i'm a 0 so we average out..

I meant striping...not stripping.

What'd you put on your side skirts? Or are they aftermarket side skirts.

Aftermarket stainless from CJPP. They didn't handle winter salt very well and I had to wire brush some surface corrosion this spring. It may take a lot of work to get the shine back. I haven't decided what to do with them yet.

0000 steel wool dipped in aluminum polish. It will do wonders. Do be afraid. It works
