Don't go overboard with the RTA trying to make it look perfect to the point where the music sounds lifeless... make it sound they way you want and screw what the RTA says.

Retiring? Congrats and once again, thank you for your service!!! :headbang:
You're welcome and it was my honor.

I will RTA the pink noise to get it close and then adjust to my liking. Verify my amp gains are still good and all will be well.

+1 thank you for your service

Update: Upgraded to Nav APIM so I can do the 2018 cluster. Used revnuts to bolt the two speaker boxes down.

Only upgrade I am considering is getting two RF Power 10's to replace the P3s.

I get to do this all again.

Buying a 2017 Navigator with Sync 3 tomorrow.
Same, cleaning out my 2013 F150 and buying a 2018 F150 today. Removing 2 sets of JL Audio components, two amps, box with two 10" subs, sound processor and all wiring. Not as crazy as your build but a pain nonetheless. Happy Modding tho!

O.k. why in the world is the Mustang Shaker Pro so bad compared the Navigator THX setup? I am duly impressed by that factory stereo.

Congrats on the new vehicle... what prompted the change?

We had a 2005 Navigator with 138k miles and all the gadgets started breaking on it and then the air suspension went out on the first day of our 6K mile trip across America. Traded it in for this one.

Ecoboost Navis are VASTLY under appreciated!!

Id gladly take a 16 or 17 with the "old" bodystyle alot is the same but that engine is eleventy billion times better than a 5.4!!

We want an 2018 Navi because that motor is even better and those seats.

Once the house is built we will get one.

Just bought a 2016 Escape Titanium 4x4 with the 2.0 EcoBoost. It gets delivered today.

That support is a great cable trough.

I know this thread is pretty old, but I'm looking for ground points for stereo stuff. Where did the other end of the ground cable go from here? Did you run it back to the battery? Find a ground point in the parcel shelf area? Ground to where you welded to the frame?

Lol fast forward. House is built and I bought a 2017 F-250 Lariat ultimate crew cab. Lifted it with 37s and of course redid the entire stereo system in it.

I am about to use the JL FIX and TWK combo as well. I am already running a Zapco amp pushing a RF T1S2 12". I decided to go with a 3 way from CDT for the front. I am wondering if I should use the passive crossovers or go full active. Hopefully you beat me to it so I can follow in your footsteps.
Did you carpet the spare tire area yourself? Looks very good and clean.

Your first point.

Yes. This is a little bit of an experiment but yes the TwK is supposed to do that as well. We will see. I will run center channel wires into the kick panel so they are already there if needed.

Second point.

My air ride is in my spare tire hole.

I am no means an authority nor a professional. Input is welcome but don't take offense if I try other things.
