I know it's a bit early, but I was wondering if any 2018 owners are experiencing any of the well-known issues that affect the 2015-2017 vehicles. Since many with driveline vibration said it started after a couple thousand miles, and many noticed the BBQ tick after the first oil change, I'm curious if these are starting to occur in the 18s.

Please limit your answer to issues that were well-known to the 15-17 vehicles as noted in the poll. If everyone adds every little problem they are having, this thread will get out of control.

What "issues" do the 2015-2017 cars have?

I can't think of any.

I agree, I don't know of any "issues" with the 15-17, but in terms of quirks and common things to watch out for then yes they are just about the same seeing as how the majority of the car is pretty much the same.

The issues are noted in the poll. They are well-known on these forums.

I thought the AC issue had been mostly mitigated before the 17 cars came out?

Also, I never had drive line vibrations, I definitely had the first gear engagement clunk that a lot of people bring up though.

Yea, I know it's early, but some 18 owners have had the car for a good 5-6 months now. I know many with driveline vibration said it started after a couple thousand miles, and many noticed the BBQ tick after the first oil change.

I'l add that to the first post.

Nothing in the list for now however the rear bumper passenger side started unclipping which was kinda strange to me. I was able to push on it and clip it back in, I've heard that this may be an issue? I hope not.

Only problem I have with the car, which I can't guarantee wasn't something that happened after driving for a while, is the driver side rear bumper fitment on the top. It has bulged very slightly since I first bought the car. I can't be sure someone didn't bump me in the parking lot and cause it. Other than that, zero issues after 1500miles.
I have some criticisms about the rear end and steering, but that all has to do with design.

Maybe that is my issue on the drivers side. Was it near the top?

My Sync 3 system acts up a little every so often. Today the backup camera came on while I was driving.

My only issue is I don't like getting home anymore.... I want to keep driving!
Same here!! This car is intoxicating to drive, open the throttle and like a blown car the acceleration is instant. Watching the gauge turn red for an instant as the A10 takes it to 7800 rpms before shifting, awesome.

I don't take it to work much but when I go out for drives I go at least 80 to 120 miles and I don't want to take it home.

Shitty stock tire syndrome (SSTS)
Mine came with Goodyear Eagles on my 20" wheels, they offer almost zero grip in drag mode from a stand still and if I punch it at 20 mph the back tries to pass the front.

Time for some good rubber back there.
