Very impressive numbers given the conditions. I just wish I could use dragstrip mode without massive wheelspin/wheelhop on the 1-2 shift. I am thinking your 20" Goodyears are better at the track than my 19" Pirellis.

Out of the hole maybe? The 1 - 2 shift kicks the rear over and spins, it shifts harder into 2nd than any automatic I've ever been in. Come to think of it, it does a hop as well when the tires grab during the shift.

Here is the 12.5 run (from 6/1/18 at GLD) where I took it to 2,000 rpms and the tires started to break loose so I quickly lowered it to 1,800 rpms before the last bulb lit.

This was the last run of the night on 06/01/18 at GLD. In this run the car went 12.2@114 again with a 1.9 short time. Advanced trac kicked in again going into 7th gear keeping the car from going faster than 114.

RC is such a great color.
I was set on Kona Blue until my dealership put a Crimson Red convertible in their showroom, it blew my mind and I had to have a GT in that color. :headbang:

I damn near ran a perfect one with a .005. The tires are at factory spec 40psi. I waited for the big boys to run with slicks, track prep was pretty good as well.

I staged and brought RPM's up to 1800 and let that take me out of the hole, then I floored it. Out of the hole for all season tires was pretty good but the shift into 2nd was tire spin and it would kick out to the side a bit.
A light burn out and dropping your rear psi might help you leave a little harder and keep you hooked up when shifting into 2nd. With a littlemore trial and error you should be able to break into the 1.8's. Glad to see your having fun, good luck!

On each run in those videos I did 20ft burnout, dropping psi in 2inch sidewall all weather tires makes zero sense but I'll give it a try.

I have never in my life seen a car with all season tires dip into the 1.8 short times, let alone short profile tires, if somebody has done so I'd love them to post it.

A friend of mine cuts 1.8 60s all day on Contitrac DWS06's. I think he runs 24-25psi in the rears but Im not 100% on that. Keep at it. You will find all the little tweaks you can to make it quicker! Thats the addicting part for me at least!

I never have seen 2 inch tall tires cut a 1.8 but like I said I'll give it a try the next time I go to GLD.

Yup your burn out looks good. 1.8's are possible but definitely not easy. I run my cont dws06 for DD at 32 psi but if I'd run at the track with them I'd take the front up to 40+psi and lower the rears by 2psi each run until you find the sweet spot. Personally I'd try 24-28psi. I haven't made a pass yet on my cont dws06 but I know I had zero luck on my pzeros and stock suspension. I had to leave super easy in 1st than shift into 2nd gear would wheel hop like crazy. I actually might go down just to see how good I can do on all seasons now. Definitely won't be as fun as letting her rip at 5k+!:clap2:

I cut 1.9 60fts with my stock Pzero's with a short burn out and a 3k slip the clutch launch technique. I had the tire pressure around 20psi cold. Actually did it on my first try but I do have a bit of drag racing experience with manuals. I am sure 1.8's could be possible with a slightly better street tire. I know someone else with an auto who actually cut a 1.7 on regular street tires. Not consistently though.

I know I need better tires to improve short times, heck I knew this the very first time I drove the car, on the street with trac control off the car just fishtails so the fact it gets 1.9's puts a smile on my face.

The next time I go to the trac I'll lower pressure some, we'll see how it does but these tires won't be on the car for long.
