SYNC 3 swap, It's all in here

Ok I got mine this morning, of course I can't pull up the window sticker with the vin. If I read the above correctly based upon the as build for that vin this APIM should be Nav since there is no 7D0-01-00 right?

Based on the ABD you posted that is non-NAV

Confirmed via ETIS that its non nav. No big deal to me.

$150 shipped for a 2015 premium bezel. Good deal or no? Salvage yard can't go any lower saying he's gotta pay his guys to pull it, etc, etc...

I bought one for $90 about 3 months ago and sold it for $125

I bought the screen, APIM, control unit (bezel), and the ACM w/ sat as a bundle deal from a totaled 17 Mustang EB Prem with Sync 3. I have a base 17 EB.

Never thought about taking the wiring at the time. I called the local yard where I got it from and they’re good with me coming back and taking what I need as long as I’m not expecting them to disassemble anything to do it.

I plan to go back for the USB hub (assuming it should be a HU5Z-19A387-A HUB) and the bezel to hub cables (FR3Z-14D202-A & B), plus the GPS antenna. It should save me over $100 if I can get them.

2 Questions:

Does the console needs to be removed or just loosened in order to remove the hub cables?

Are there any other cables, or parts that I need that are removable?

I got mine from a yard for $125 shipped. Most of the ones I've seen on car-part are in the $125-$165 range.

If you want the USB cables remove the console entirely and take a good pair of thin sharp wire cutters and plan to spend awhile dissecting it.

I haven’t had one to test but I’m willing to bet it’s the same.

From what I can tell, they left the function of the toggle switches alone. I agree with Hextall that it's probably the same.
