At the PRI Show in Indy this week. Stopped by the FP booth, not a ton of new stuff but some interesting upgrades are being released:
The blower kit that was displayed at SEMA
A new air/oil separator for 2018 cars that works with N/A or S/C engines
2018 Performance Pack Level 2 wheels have a Ford Performance part number and are being released in matte black.
New catback exhaust options including GT350 style active exhaust for 15-17 GTs and new Quad tips in chrome, black and carbon fiber for 2018 cars
Verified the 2018 rear fascia will fit 15-17 cars
2018 FP/Recaro leather seats
The blank tail lamp panel is available for a limited time again with a new part number
I have pics but internet has been slow.

It was my first time at PRI and I enjoyed it greatly.

The Ford Booth was quite the size and I really liked the 2018 Coyote engine design in the Hertz Mustang.

I should have taken a few more but here's what I have...I have a few other photos unrelated to Ford on my IG too.

That Black tipped catback makes me wonder if that is what is on the new Bullitt based on images.

Federal noise regulations don’t allow Ford/Borla exhaust on production cars. That’s why more OEMs are using active exhaust. It gives us a loop hole.

Interesting note, but I was under the impression this has been law for years and isn't a new thing?

Federal noise regulations? No they aren’t new. The practice of working around them because of the feedback received from voice of the customer surveys is.

Understood. That was my thoughts but I'm not versed on them, 100%.

Aren’t you the guy who thinks FP calibrations are inferior to what Lund can do? (Forget the fact that our dynos and data aq systems cost more than Lund makes in 10 years and are constantly calibrated and monitored, Oh! and Lund can only access 10-15% of the parameters we can) The ZX2 S/R muffler isn’t comparable to the current FMVSS111 regs that we face. That axle back was developed under the early 2000s regs, which were looser than why we face now. Key words “not as loud as” we have been restricted to a certain dB level at a certain distance at a specific speed for decades. The Bullitt, if it’s released, will not include the Borla mufflers. Period. No offense but you really have no clue as to what We face in the OEM engineering field.

Which puts down more power? That's all I give a damn about and was the whole point of that conversation was. I don't give a shit about Federal OEM requirements and neither does anyone else adding a tune and going to the track.

As to THE CURRENT conversation, the question was "since when" and your statement conflicts. It doesn't prevent "borla" exhausts as you said, it prevents loud exhaust.

If you're going to be a dick at least be a useful dick. You love to argue things that are NOT the point.
