Got to Watson bar in and painted it with enamel sunburst yellow. Goes well with lighting blue. Now I have to wait 2 weeks for it to fully cure before installing it.

Hmmmm that actually gave me an idea. Black strips on the bar.

Yellow? Why would anybody want anything in yellow?

I’m pretty much out.

I’m curious too, about the Watson roll bar. I thought gray would be way too boring. It could be. But I may not be the man for yellow. Hope it turns out well!

I went with the race red roll cage with race red harnesses. It helped accentuate the red highlights in the rest of the car. I almost bought a yellow roll cage from a member here, but it didn't work out. Looking back on it, it would have been too much yellow.

Yellow is one of those colors that stands out. If the OP is looking to accentuate or make it stand out, yellow could be a good choice. I wonder whats the plan for the rest of it to bring it all together?

I wanted to go with blue but it would of been too much as my car is blue also. Yellow goes great with blue. And I definitely want people able to see it from the outside.

Red is $50 extra and is powder coated. So if you want red pay the extra $50 but if you want different color you save $50 and paint it yourself. I used 3 cans and came out to $16 from Walmart. Make sure it is enamel and don't worry about clear coat.

I have a LB also, thought about yellow brake calipers much ? Been thinking of that on mine, looks good on GT3's in blue with yellow calipers.

Would be nice to see pics of the options. The gray brake calipers don't pop, I was thinking matching blue but open to other suggestions.

May I ask a favor? Would you please weigh the roll cage (to include supplied hardware and rear supports)? I installed mine without weighing it. Shipping weight is at 74 pounds. Watson says actual weight is 68 pounds. I honestly think that number is high. I don't need the breakout of each piece, just the entire assembly with supplied hardware.

Thanks!

This link may help for your install. It is the install notes for mine.
