Typically we work inside the showrooms. But unfortunately all the cars were out side. The with was bananas. Plus I use water when creating them so, it was pretty brutal.
Anywho, first pieces are done and I'm going back to see how we did.
Usually we have to go back at least 1,2 more times.
Once done, they get loaded into the computer and we are ready to cut! I'll probably send 5.0 a set to try out before we go to production.

Seriously though, from what little I know, Ed had not so good luck the last time he tried Mustang stuff (not enough interest from consumers) but I think this time, it will be a lot better. It seems there have been many that have ordered the sound deadening mat and reported what I reported positively. I have little doubt that this next product will also help us and in turn him.

Yup. That really has played into it. Either its just way to cold, snow or raining. To be honest we have also been slammed getting orders processed and shipped.

But as stated above, I carved out today to recheck what we did. Its cold but at least its sunny

Sweet lord the its been too cold around here. To the point where we can't design the templates. Working with water outside does not help BUT, yesterday is was almost warm. Upper 30's. In the sun, not bad so I went and completed the templates. Checked the ones I previously did and they fit nice.
One more test fit for the new pieces and we should be ready to roll.

I walked around the lot and seen so many new and used (1 year) with chips in the area I'm looking to protect so i think you guys will like this.

I took some pic's. I'll post once I get them out of my phone..

Is this just for behind/in front of the wheels or will it cover other areas such as the hood and bumper? Super interested in this!

The plans are for more than just behind/in front of the wheels.

Ok, well I think I'm done on my end. I say "think" because I need to have these punched out so we can final test fit.
However I just got word that my guy who now takes the designs and turns them into something the computer can read will be out till the 7th!
So, a little more waiting. But we are getting there! :cheers:

Is the test fitment patterns being done for the 2016-2017 models or the 2018?

Also, is there any mirror protection?

Good question. We worked on 2016-2017.

There are subtle changes in the 18 BUT the vulnerable areas we are working on, I'm not sure if there is any changes. But we will check.

Im waiting on my guy to get back on the 7th. Once back we digitize the patterns. Then we sut them out and test fit. If I like them we roll. So mid March is the goal!
