Tried again, after finding attach files drop down box. Note that the wheel was wobbly when installed, so jammed wrapped add ins under right side. (I found the tow hook in the inflator kit thanks to this forum and added this to wrapped add ins.

Thanks for posting. Looks like it all sits flush. Someone somewhere actually had a pic where they managed to install the inflator kit in there too.

That would be a big advantage if it does sit flush. With the size of the boot in these things you can't afford to waste any boot space. Can you confirm Nostromo?

Yes, deck does fit flush with Ford dealer supplied spare wheel. I have attached a photo of the passenger side deck flush fit. And yes, the spare wheel is underneath with the jack! MUS550 is having trouble getting the mounting bolt to secure it. Mine all fits with mounting bolt secured and all flush.

There is neat pic from Kramer82 who has shoehorned in OEM inflator kit as well under spare. Page 8 of Gnome Spare thread.
Might try this when I return.
Only guessing it all sits flush.
Sorry- can’t paste his pic here.

It won’t fit under this wheel as it’s center hub sits deeper than the gnome trmpe wheel

Thanks, knew something mitigate against it. Like my boot, empty.
Guess I'll keep it in a bag with jumper leads hope it doesn't roll around.

With spare and inflator, two flats in a day. Can still make a flight.

Got the spare, jack and brace from Ford dealer $750.
Boot mat fits flush and I'll secure the jack and brace under the wheel.

Inflator kit fits neatly under front passenger seat. Rarely have Crew and never had anyone in rear. Full movement of seat, doesn't seem to hit any wires or cables. Return Canberra trip - didn't move an inch.

Nice to have the security of spare on board and additional redundant capacity with inflator kit.
Yeah, another imminent flight.

Did you secure the jack and brace using the bolt that also holds the spare wheel in place ?

Can you do that?
Try it when I return.
Car is in storage, I'm working in Vietnam.

I am not Vietnamese.

Great idea for the inflator kit Radar, under the passenger seat. I'll give it a go. You did better pricewise with the spare for sure. Ford might sell a few at that more respectable pricing.

Inflator kit sits at rear of left front seat. Where a rear passengers feet might go.

The spare has a sticker on it - limited to 80 kmh and 200 km.
The speed makes sense.
I'm being cautious here, but does the 200 km distance refer to life of tyre? Or a single drive.
For example if I'm doing my regular Canberra- Melbourne 200 km is only one third the journey.

If all my flats are nearby home and 5 km from Bob Jane, no problems. My spare will last forever assuming one flat every few years.
But if I'm at Gundagai...

Does anyone know for sure - manual doesn't specify.
