Yeah I doubt Ford is trucking any cars directly from the plant to nearby states. They likely go to a distribution hub and then from there onto their respective states.

I also got my window sticker. It doesn't feel real that this is happening finally!
Yours and mine are configured the same, except for the extra cost of the Orange Fury. My Window sticker was up this morning as well. My price came in at $53,160.

Seems even stranger when you finally pick it up. I thought I was dreaming when I woke up this morning. I had to look out the window to make sure the car was actually in the driveway.
What's wrong with you man....You didn't sleep in it?????:lol::lol::lol::thumbsup:

I'm hoping I get it sooner than the 11th. I doubt it takes 3 weeks for a truck to make it to SC though.
Bootlegger and I are both in SC too. His car was blended (completed) on 11/30 and Delivered on 12/12/2017. So two weeks sounds like a fair amount of time to expect delivery. That would put delivery on 1/2/2018 right when they open back up after New Years.

yeah, I agree. But I'm optimistic, also, two other Mustangs my dealership has took 2 days according to COTUS (VIN: 1FATP8FF6J5116901 and 1FATP8FF9J5113488), and another one took four days (VIN: 1FA6P8CF9J5103092) which I think it was waiting for the 1FATP8FF6J5116901 on the lot since it was delivered the same day. Though they do also have a GT350 that has been waiting since 10/10....

Mine is also by convoy, from the plant to my dealership is only about 400 miles, so unless they drive super super slowly, or there happens to be bad weather (let's face it at this time of year, who knows), it should take no longer than 2 days.
I just googled it and it is 673 miles from the plant to where I bought the car. I'm hoping they'll get it on the truck by December 22nd and my the 26th I'll have my car if not sooner.

No garage?
I have a 2 car garage, but it houses our 18ft SeaDoo Challenger Jet boat and the convertible. Thanks to the stupid HOA, I can't keep the boat outside. Hopefully I can afford to dry dock the boat some day.

Here is my timeline:
Production Start - 11/20/17
Blended (completed) - 11/29/17
Shipped - 11/30/17
Arrived at terminal (Columbia, SC) - 12/10/17
Arrived at dealer (Charleston, SC) - 12/11/17
Delivered - 12/12/17

BTW, COTUS still doesn't show it as delivered.

It's nice to see all you reporting movement with production, shipping, and delivery. The wait has been long but the wait will have been worth it. Regardless of how you spec'd it, you are going to get a car that you will truly enjoy. I look in the garage, first thing, every AM and have been known to just sit in for long periods of time.

Caution, transportation from the plant to the dealer won't be without frustration. As previously noted, mine sat at the plant for 3 weeks, then sat at the rail yard for 2 weeks. Even after shipping, it sat for several days at the ramp waiting for pickup by a truck. Stay on top of your dealer, might not help, but at least you will know where you stand.

Stay positive!!!

Just scheduled with a local tire shop to have my winter tires mounted and balanced on the new wheels I got a few weeks back, time to get ready for the stang!

I checked the Vins for almost all the cars being sold in my area and each indicated 12-15 Days on average for each delivery which seems remarkably consistent to me. They may have taken their time to get the "Ok to Buy" but Shipping looks like an under promise, over deliver situation. (Pardon the Pun)
