This forum thread is flaming out. Ford - give me something or its a red eye challenger within the month. My 03 Cobra needs a modern counterpart with GT350 like handling.

Make it happen.

It's getting old for sure. It's still worth the wait to at least see what it is before making a decision.

While I’ve never personally driven a Hellcat Challenger, I can’t imagine a Redeye is going to meet your handling requirements.
Agree. My daily is an SRT8 300 so I’m familiar with the chassis. Short of my desires

With as slow as information is being leaked about the GT500 , I am beginning to think the GT500 will not appear until the end of 2019. No magazines appear to be getting info from Ford.

I’ve been saying this since Ford talked about it at the NAIAS Press Conference in January. The same press conference where they laid out their vision for Mach I. Heard anything about that since?

At the press conference, in the first days of 2018, they said GT500 is coming in 2019. They did not say Q1 2019. They did not say early 2019. They did not say spring or summer of 2019. They said “coming in 2019” and they said “available in 2019”. That gives them 365 days to play with to get the car to the ground. Should also note that in Auto Industry-speak, “Coming in 2019” means “We will officially announce the car sometime in 2019”. “Available in 2019” means “there will be at least one vehicle on a dealer lot by December 31, 2019”.

We played that game in 2010, with the first Chevrolet Volt. GM promised the vehicle would be available for sale in 2010. The first 2011 Volt was delivered in either November or December of 2010. And there was A LOT of drama in Warren to get that to happen.

I would imagine the release of the new Hellcats and seeing the performance of the ZL1 has delayed it...which might be a good thing.

Maybe Ford is upping the performance to not be embarrassed.

Yes Sir, I would be waiting until year 2 for any early kinks to be ironed out anyway.
I've got lots of time to decide.

Your a better man than me if you can hold out. That Hellcat drag pack is looking more and more like my next car.

Since some were somewhat disappointed with V1 of the predator project
I went to V2, improving the frontal aspect that was closer to what I had in mind. I have made a lot of aerodynamic improvements and I would have loved the hydraulic system in the spoiler.
The front has been completely redesigned, retouched headlights, air intakes and a long etc ...

Looks quite busy, but I like your imagination.

The rear quarter panel intake should be deleted. It doesn’t serve a purpose on this platform.

Like the visual, tone it down 5% and i think you have a real winner. Hood height due to US crash rules will play a part. I really like to see the creativity from Board members, design is something I have no skills in, but appreciate the imagery. carry on!

I am still investigating the possibilities of the predator project (gt 500 rr) this time I will show you how it would be the hydraulic spoiler and a new version of the diffuser although I do not think it will be the definitive one I will do all the views and show it later, thanks to those who show support
Maybe I'll help you later to make this vision a reality if you are geniuses in the workshop
