If I hadn't sunk all this money into this 6R80 I would probably go for that. At this point though I'm out of money and need to fix this one and cut my losses. I'm hoping this will be warrantied since it's been only a couple weeks.

Good luck man. I know how it feels with a run of bad luck like that when all you want to do is enjoy the car. Keep at it. Just another hurdle along the modding road. Won't be long and you'll be up and running again.
Damn Bro, you are in the midst of a rough stretch. Keep at it
Thanks guys

Very interesting, If the planetary is what broke I will bring this up with JPC and Lund. Thanks for sharing.

If you are staying 6r80 case LOL youd be best off going to a 4r200 and forget about having more 6r80 issues!!!

It's going to depend on what they find. I'm going to hope they warranty it since it's been 3 weeks but if not I'll have to go the cheapest route due to finances :tsk: Believe me I want to get rid of this 6R80 badly lol I'm tired of fixing it.

First time it was the torque converter, second time it was the oil pump.

This is the 3rd time, still sitting in the driveway waiting to get towed down to JPC in Maryland. I believe they agreed to come pick it up and trailer it down for me as I had an "IOU" from them for their last screw up lol.

Amazing that almost everyone has no problems but mine's broken 3 times at way less power lol. And I dont neutral drop it or do stupid shit lol, wait for it to get up to temp before hard accel, etc. Either I get a lemon from the factory or these shops don't know what the hell they're doing.

Car has been picked up by JPC. The waiting game begins... (again)

Looked more into the 4R200. Determined (and Lund agreed) that it's really made for drag racing and wouldn't be useful on the street.

Got my car back over the weekend, they found and repaired a broken snap ring in the trans. Only the second time they have seen that break.

Installed my dual meth nozzles yesterday, one 10GPH and one 7GPH (up from a single 12GPH). Haven't had time to fine tune it and do logs yet though, but it looks awesome :D

Finished up tuning. Got back to 20-21 degrees timing at 15.3psi all the way up to 8k rpms. Car pulls crazy hard, I can officially say it is fast enough and i am done adding power. Check back in a year though... :giggle: Dyno will be in order soon to see if i hit my 800whp goal.

Got the car ceramic coated also. Looks amazing

Car looks killer. I've been eyeing those wheels for my 2018. Am I correct that they are nearly 10lbs lighter than the factory PP wheels? I still need to talk to you about the Alky kit as well. The idea of having more than 13 degrees of timing at 8lbs of boost is very appealing!

Thanks! Yep they are about 9bs lighter. Factory PP is about 32.5lbs, M350s are around 23.5lbs.

Definitely! 8psi/13* is barely getting into the fun. You do have the higher compression which helps, but that's still pretty low. I gained 3psi and 3-6* timing with meth. Timing fluctuated between 15-18 depending on the 93, now it's steady 20-21. That is alot of power gained. Unfortunately I didn't dyno before/after, but I've read each degree or psi is worth about 20whp. So I would say the meth kit is a worthy investment if you don't have E85 available.

Washed it. Loving the ceramic. Just sprayed it down with the foam gun, rinsed, and dried. Done.
