I have a non PP so I was thinking of adding a strut tower. When looking at the Steeda it states that it is compatible with the 20" wheel option.

Does that mean the OEM strut tower or another make might not be compatible with the 20 inch wheels? I just found it off they mentioned it.

Interesting question, I have the Steeda STB mostly because it looks legit compared to the bland Ford one.

SteedaTech Does the Steeda STB offer better performance over the OEM GTPP STB?

TIA

I know there's a lot of acronyms there, I apologize lol.

The 4130 chromoly steel tubing make it stronger than the OEM, making it stiffer for better handling.

There is a second part you should look at which helps significant. It is #8 on this diagram.

I have a 2015 non-PP with the 20" wheel option, and have the factory strut brace on it. I got it from a buddy when he Whipple S/C'd his PP. It fits fine.

I think the reason it may mention the 20" wheel option is because, if I'm not mistaken, having the 20" wheel option gives you the K-brace that other non-PP cars do not have (the one pointed out in the diagram above). My non-PP with 20" wheels DOES have that K brace stock.

ok, looks like another part goes on the "to-do" list.

Also, 25% lighter than production strut tower brace.
