I really was contemplating getting one because, it's a pretty much future proof car but oh well lol...

That's the only LE vert made. Supposed to be auctioned (or raffled, don't remember which).

Mine (actually hers) is number 779, KB auto. We picked it up on Jan 2, but have driven it very little due to the weather. This weekend was beautiful, so I gave it a good waxing. Now if we could get a good rain to wash the crap off the streets...

Proud owner of #1416 for about 12 days now. Wimbledon White with an Automatic Trans, purchased from Ashe County Ford in North Carolina. I think ya'll know what the plate looks like.......

Sorry to get off track for a moment. This picture has given me some inspiration. I always think about cool mods that I can make to my cars that are reversible. I wouldn't want to ever do something that would destroy the long term value of the car. Anyway, when I look at this photo, I instantly think that the tail fin on the LE car deck lid should have been higher so it would look more like a vintage 69 /70 Fastback / Mach 1. After I retire (not that far away), I think I'm going to buy a used deck lid and re-craft the fin so it is higher. I'll just extend the edges over the top of the quarter panels like the First gen Camaro spoilers. Only difference is that it will be a permanent part of the deck lid so it looks more like the original Mach I or maybe even high enough to look like a 67 Shelby fin. I can also make the gap above the quarter panel pretty small since it will be a custom fit. Add some Guardsman Blue racing stripes and Oh baby.... Now we're talking retro.

I can always put the original deck lid back on and peel the stripes if it looks stupid....... but conceptually I think it will be a really need mod. My apologies in advance to those of you who would never violate purity.
