Life is indeed about a work/life balance. Don't stress over the costs ... it'll drive you nuts. Just enjoy your new found endorphin machine. Congrats on the new ride. You did well. I pick up my PP2 in 36 hours ...

Life is too short to drive a boring-ass car. Drive the hell out of it.

Oh and you're not mentally ill. A mentally ill mustang owner also buys a corvette the same day then parks them both in his driveway, and has a very public argument with himself in said driveway on which one is "better".

Nice - I saw a early 12 or 13 perhaps 14 Garage Queen Bullitt for only 17.5 - had less than 20K on it - I waited and it was swallowed up. I prefer the S550 though.

I turned down all the extended warranties - and though I can still buy one - something like 2400.00 - I'm going to pass.

I felt a bit insane as well. I usually only get practical cars.

It's call Mustang fever once it gets into your soul you're hooked for life.
