My car is a stock 2015 Mustang premium GT without the performance pack. The car came from the factory with 20” wheels wonder if that is why the brake lines are different?
Mine are the same except my suffix is GC instead of GD, but that means they're effectively the same part, not a variant. Can you show us a picture of the difference you're seeing? The 50th anniversary brembos are no different from the normal PP ones except for paint.

It looks to me as though the not sure what u call it but the square end of that the banjo bolt goes into is too large. It looks to overhang the stopper on the bremos.

The red is the block. The green is showing the lip or stopper.

The metal block over hangers by almost 1/4 “

I believe I know why the brake line wouldn’t fit. I had the caliper upside down ( wrong side).

The banjo bolt hole is off-center it’s closer to the one edge than the other. Hence it was over the block and would fit.

Thanks for everyone’s input to try to solve my problem. Unfortunately there is no fixing stupid.:headbonk:

Bleeder screws always up. This is the most popular question to Ford Performance Tech Line when brake problems come up. Happy you resolved it, you are not the first and won't be the last. Enjoy the new braking performance!

Haven’t installed it yet. Need to pick up some new banjo bolt and crush washers. Lol.

Sort of embarrassing posting this, but hey life is life. I have a '17 GT non-PP, Premium, which is mechanically identical to your car, Amacron. Down to the 20" wheels.

I bought my StopTech rotors/pads, Steeda stainless brake lines and 50th Anniversary Brembos more than a year ago and they are still not installed. I work_a_lot and don't have much free time at all. 70-hour weeks will do that to you. Work, family, house all come first. But, I will be finally taking some time off next month and will get my Brembos installed. Seriously.

I have noted that the PP cars that come with Brembos have a different master cylinder and brake booster (diff part #'s) than non-PP cars. I don't know what the mechanical differences are b/t the parts, but the part numbers are indeed different.

Being that our cars are mechanically identical: What kind of braking performance have you noted with the Brembos? Any issues at all? ABS working OK? Any trouble codes thrown? Anything odd at all?

Thanks for your time.

No. Other than me trying to put them on the wrong side (upside down). Bleeds go up. They went on no Problem. I have read on another forum that there is no issues with putting these on without changing the master or brake booster. I have not had any issues at all. They stop good. I reused the old brake lines. By putting stainless ones on I have read they will be even better.

Another thread said ford would not sell these as a kit without including the master and brand booster if It would cause an issue.

Looks great. I have a set of 50th Ann calipers sitting in my house waiting for me to decide what rotors and pads to go with

A bit off topic, but would anyone know what brakelines one should buy when purchasing the standard 4 piston GT brakes (without brakeline) and installing them onto a standard ecoboost? From what I’ve seen so far, my stock brakelines won’t fit and there isn’t much info out there on this specific topic.

The base EcoBoost and the V6 brakelines are indeed different than the standard GT brakelines. I ran into this upgrading a V6 to GT brakes. I initially tried to use the original brakelines only to realize they weren't going to work. Luckily the takeoffs I purchased came with the brakelines, so all was good. You should be able to look up the brakelines by model on any Ford part site or find a GT VIN if you really want to be sure. Or purchase the stainless brake hoses from an online vendor for a GT which would give you an even better feel.

I'm upgrading the front brakes on my V6 with the 4 piston standard GT brake calipers, rotors, pads. I have the brake lines but I don't have banjo bolts or crush washers. I can't seem to find them anywhere. Also do I need to upgrade the splash guard?
