I finally finished installing my BMR Magneride lowering springs today. I’m very satisfied with the stance of the car. The fronts have been on there for five days and I just installed the rears today. On the fronts I discussed with Kelly my goals and I did the minimal drop front springs (SP089/SPH767). For those that watch Dave at CJPP video on lowering a Magneride car when he says you just have to tap the front spindle bolts to get them out......yea I’m calling BS :D. I had to break out Big Bertha to remove those bolts. I did some quick spirited driving taking corners and curve and it handles like it’s on rails and the ride quality is still great.

Thanks. LOL!!! Yea I technically don’t have any “work clothes” so my old scrubs become my work clothes.

I don't know why BMR does not post these springs on the website.

Looks good. Rear seems lower than the front.

Man I can't even tell that it's lowered, that is disappointing. I like the spring rates, but if that is the drop then I'll be rethinking this purchase

Comparing the stock and BMR side shot, the front actually looks higher than before?

They have fronts that will drop it lower but I decided to go with the minimal drop on the front springs. I'm pretty sure the lower front springs will give you the rake look you're looking for. The front is definitely not higher than before.

Lowering the car over an inch will reduce ride quality and handling.

You can always buy the front springs on sport lines and the rear BMR and cut the rear springs to your liking.

I don't want to lower more than an inch, it's just even in the rears this doesn't look like the advertised .7" drop. I understand the fronts are minimal drop springs, each to their own

Ride quality isn't as important for me, my BCs are set very low so used to a stiff ride.

OP did you measure the drop?

I forgot to measure the before for the front but I did do it for the rear. See pics.

How do these rates compare to the Ford Performance GT350 springs? I am looking for a little more aggressive rates.

I think they are 250/980 for the BMRs. I want to say the GT350 is like 220/914 or something like that. Don’t hold me to that lol
