I started to install my Steeda progressive springs and having trouble getting rear springs out. It just doesn't pop out like in those install videos. Any tips?

I got mine out pretty easily last month. Did you remove the sub-frame bolts?

Used a Jack to support the subframe while undoing the two bolts holding one side in place. Lowered Jack and there was plenty of room to get the rear spring out.

Used CJPP track pack suspension kit install video as a reference.

I loosened subframe bolts and took the shock out. I guess the only thing left is to loosen sway bar end link

Do I try to pull the top or bottom of spring out first?

When removing, pull the whole assembly down to clear the top perch, then slide the top out so it doesn’t catch and then you should be able to pull it out.

Installing is the reverse, you put the bottom in first and then do the top.

Gotta push down pretty hard on the control arm. Don’t be afraid to man handle it. Disconnecting the sway bar really helps free it up.

Completely remove the 8” metal plate that goes from the subframe to the chassis. This will allow the subframe to lower well. If you still can’t get the spring out, have a buddy pull down on the subframe while you poke the spring with a big metal stick...this worked for me

Oh yes my bad disconnected sway bar end links as well. It came right out with lots of clearance.

I used CJPP install YouTube videos as a reference.
