Liberty ships were built in an average 70 days during WW2 with a lot less Technology.
Just ordered a 2018 F150. Couldn't find one with the options I wanted. I'm being told 8 weeks. I was thinking it would be shorter time with the amount of F150's that get churned out. Oh well.

Holy crap, what did you order? My '18 order went in 23 Feb 2018 and I took delivery yesterday.

Wow. My convertible was ordered the 2/24, the next day after you placed your order. Cotus still shows that it is 22 days left until delivery.

Dealer says it will be here on 5/25, but the Cotus date is 06/06. Dunno who to believe as Cotus is inaccurate from what I was told. I really need to make an account on the blue oval forums and see if anyone at Ford can check the order number for me.

I know the Magneride was in short supply. Could have been a driving factor in how long you have had to wait.

I placed my order the beginning of February and just got the update that it is finally in transit with an updated EDD of 5/28.

Got my car Friday the 18. Eight days short of 5 months. COTUS had EDD the 20th. The EDD went away on COTUS the 17th at 9pm, My Dealer called the next AM. I have not had much time with the car (Rain) but the A1080 is awesome. Digital dash is a little awarded to navigate.

My order is ahead of yours by a few weeks, no VIN yet and we're at the same dealer. My sales rep told me it's not unusual for it to be several weeks before I get a VIN, but once I do, it should happen fairly quickly after that.

I'll only panic if I hit week 10 and still nothing. I am in Week 6 currently, Week 7 starts Wednesday.

My rep also mentioned 12 weeks is a conservative estimate; it might happen before that, but not likely. Would rather say 12 weeks and set the expectation and come out ahead, but given what all I'm NOT seeing so far (no one else getting 2019 VINs yet, that I can recall?), I'm skeptical that I'll see my car before August; just a gut-check.

I ordered my 2019 on 5-24, dealer told me 4 to 6 weeks for delivery, I knew that was not even going to be close but they locked in the amount for my trade on the 15 GT, so I am going to have some fun with that car now until the new one shows up.

That's hilariously optimistic, from what I've seen so far. I'm already beyond that and I don't yet have a VIN, let alone a schedule for build, and a schedule for delivery.
