I must say I really like the front of the 2019 GT500 as it appears. The big Cobra in the center really highlights what the GT500 represents , the ultimate Mustang. No doubt about it being a Cobra.

Definitely. And did anyone notice the 3 DRL's are back to the nicer looking '15-17' straight style ?
The teaser video for the gt500 had the new 18 headlights. These images are all cgi likely just a miss by the photo team.

Guys, how much lighter (if any) do you think this car (manual) will be against Hellcat Charger manual ? And along the same comparison subject, what about price against a Hellcat Charger manual vs. GT500 manual?

There are no manual Chargers.
If we’re comparing this car to a Hellcat weights that is disappointing.
Anything over 4000# will be sad.

I did these in a previous thread with an assist from JWS. Not perfect but gives you some idea. These belong in the renderings section but people keep wondering so...

I remember when everyone including me hated the front of the S550(2015).....and then I actually saw one......just saying.
I actually also thought instantly of the original 427 Cobra at first look. The Cobra in the middle isn't the worst thing in the world either even though I'm used to looking at my 2009 GT500 which is on the side....My guess is this design is leaning pretty far into function as I see the wide opening needed for cooling the big SC 5.2 with brake duct cooling vents to reign her in well into the later stages of a track session.

With almost 800HP and similar design I see this thing stomping a mudhole in the ZL1's A$$ and stepping into the new Corvette's performance range on the track.

By stepping into the new Corvette's performance range it's getting too close to the Ford GT, so unlikely to happen.

My bad. I meant Challenger Manual.
I hope the GT500 is below the 4000 mark. The two Dodge "Ch..." are very heavy.

I don't know and you may be correct but the GT is in all reality just a collector piece. At $400K compared to 100-120K the Vette has already proven to be faster around a track. Also the GT at 3000# with 640HP compared to the new GT500 with what looks to be 770-780 and hopefully under 4000# with a similar tranny(DCT) doesn't seem like a very far spread performancewise.....I'm not saying the GT500 will best the Vette but I'd be willing to say the Vette's probably not gonna run away and hide from the GT500 either since I'm also speculating the GT500 will be close to the Vette in price range....Just my opinion though and I've been wrong plenty of times before

Filled in some of the lines. We know what the center hood vent looks like but I wonder what they're hiding in the other strategically dark portions of the hood. I'm thinking vents similar to the GT4.

was said that some tidbits on the hood were different than what we've seen so far. I'd expect a couple other openings.

Considering how similar the center extractor is to the GT4 extractor, I really wouldn't be surprised of they added the same smaller extractors on the side. Nice illustration with the outlines!
