So an update
Suffered a back injury in April and still in therapy. A bit better now so I wanted to do a few things to the car.
I managed to do the sync 3 swap in March and last week I did a ceramic coating, Gyeon Pure, and added some hood struts and blow off valve.
I might have messed up with the coating process but I had quite a few things going against me mainly the weather window as I don't have a garage. I washed and clay bared it later Tuesday afternoon and polished it closed to dusk.
At about 5am the next morning I washed it again and then used prep on a panel at a time and applied the coating. As it became brighter I noticed that the paint looked a bit hazy.
Looks like it could be from the clay or the fact that I buffed off the polish immediately after applying. Either way the color of the car is a tad bit lighter.
In direct sunlight it looks amazing but in the shade not as deep as before.
Doing this without a garage is hard as you have to deal with the wind and dust, and other cars constantly passing and kicking up dust and pollen.
I covered it for 24 hours after applying the coating and and i took these pictures the next day.

I am not supposed to wash the car for 1 week but some thunder storms here today has other plans, so I will have to wait till it's over and dry it down quickly but I have to say the coating is very hydrophobic. The color seems to have somewhat returned, only slightly.
The plan is to have a pro compound and polish it next year and then I will reapply the coating again. This coating is supposed to place a hard shell over the car so I should see less rock chips in the future.
All in all, not bad for a car that was written off a year ago
