What size foam did you use? When my bezel comes in I’ll be swapping mine out and that’s the one thing I keep forgetting to get, the foam. Looking on amazon a ton of options, but I just want to make sure I get the right stuff!

You can just get weatherstripping at the hardware store. Just get like some 1/4" thick stuff or about that.

Anyone have a extra '18 SCCM they would like to sell? All I'm short is that. for Sam, A base car can use any SCCM right? or are the markings different?

I *may* have a spare -HA SCCM but I'm not 100% sure. I'll have to go look when I get home from work.

You can use any SCCM but some will have the "A" for auto wipers on them. This doesn't matter you just use the "Auto" position as your "intermittent" setting. It works normally.

Parts Arrived

Amazing but I got everything I needed in one order (two packages shipped). I now have the cluster, the bezel, the three steering wheel button sets and the HA SCCM (turn signal and wiper stalks along with clockswitch), and even some white plastic clips. I placed that order on Tuesday and parts are here on Thursday. Mike Ruhberg at Autonation Ford White Bear Lake was very helpful. Thanks!

I have already created an edited SCCM and IPC as-built file using the expert advice I found in this thread. I plan to simply “Load All” in FORScan and select each file, in turn of course, then select “Write All.” All this after I backup whatever as-built is in the parts I just received. More to follow.

I just got in 3 bezels today. Shipping out 3 kits to people tomorrow! Soon we'll have 3 more of these swaps complete... Waiting on 2 more clusters and bezels for 2 other people!

Forscan the IPC

I have it installed and it all works. SCCM was easy, wrote my edits fine. All buttons work. However, the IPC is quitting the write at 38% like some others. I guess I need a newer version of Forscan. I also have several dtc’s set in the 2100 category. It lets me clear some but not all. Car thinks I have BLIS, ESP, etc. and I do not. I tried a 20180404 version of forscan, still same issues. Just downloaded 20180411 beta from forscan. Working with Breeves002 to see about getting another beta to try from FORScan. Hope that does it.

Autonation ford white bear lake. Ask for Mike R. He's there like 11am-7pm central. Tell him you want to do a cluster swap. Just make sure you give him the part numbers you need even though he knows them. Get the correct cluster and SCCM numbers.

Same issue. Breeves002 asked me for my dump and log files along with a screen shot of my IPC configuration. So now the Forscan folks are on it. New beta coming. Headlights work fine on high beam by the way.
