Red ponies rule!

That's a nice backdrop for race red.

Took the wife's GT to the Smokies for our honeymoon. Hit the tail of the dragon while there, and couldn't pass the chance for some great picture opportunities along the way.

She's lovely, Chris. And the Mustang looks good too.

A few point and shoots from yesterday, wearing new shoes.
It is a shame I don't live in the USA, I would offer to buy your old wheels. The new ones certainly give the car a different look.

Thanks Chris! The 19" Dark Stainless Premium Painted Aluminum (Optional: GT Premium) is a nice looking stock wheel. I've seen them in person mounted on most of the Mustang color options. A few months ago I sold a set to someone who installed them on a magnetic. I'll miss the shine of the OEM a little bit, but I'm liking the style and offset of the new ones. The car drives and rides better on the new Indy 500's.

I'll post up some side by side comparisons in a few days.
That would be interesting to see. In Australia there are no factory wheel style options at all. The black version of my wheels is standard on GTs. The silver nickel plated wheels costs a fair bit more, so most Mustangs here are black unfortunately.

Interestingly, Ford USA recently has been criticised for offering too many options in its domestic market, affecting profitability and share prices.

Come January once it has been a year since I got my car, I'll put on my plastidipped dark stainless wheels and see how long the dip lasts. If it isn't too durable all around, I'll peel it off and rock them with the silver shine.

It does fill the gap a little but I'm most impressed with the ride of the Indy tire. It's much better than the P Zero Nero.
What about the grip level comparison? I don't find the ride to be too bad for the P Zeros, but the grip level can surprise in some situations.

I notice that the sidewall markings on my 2017 build are slightly different from the earlier (2015?) Mustang P Zeros. I don't know if they changed the construction or compound too; probably unlikely.
