So... FIVE model years without an upgrade in power??

The other stuff is great. But that’s... that’s a problem.

To all the people calling me an idiot for saying the PP2 would likely meet or exceed lap times of the base GT350... Here's your sign :headbonk:

Awesome that they ditched the drilled rotors. However, surprised they didn't add an option for the digital cluster and that they didn't add the 2018+ taillights.

Now, CAN WE PLEASE GET THE FORD PDR APP FOR THE MUSTANG????
I'm actually happy they didn't add the 18+ taillights to the 19 GT350. I also personally think that they should keep the 15-17 taillights on the GT500 as well since they're keeping the 15-17 front lights.

It ruins the overall design harmony imo. The front lights triple LED's are supposed to be in symmetry with the rear taillights and was designed as such. It's minor, but it bothers me to see the GT500 using the crooked 18+ taillights, while retaining the straight LED 15-17 headlights.

I like how the 18+ taillights look... with the matching 18+ front lights.

Totally agreed.

It’s actually quite ridiculous to anything be who cares about doing things right.

Is it “good enough?” Perhaps. But it isn’t excellent.

maybe ford performance will offer a performance tune key, that makes an additional 20hp.

Currently shopping Ford/GM HPDE options:

2019 GT350 faster than the 2019 1SS 1LE?
The 2018 seem to be close(except price).

Can the 2019 GT350 beat the 2019 ZL1 1LE?

Will Ford release a PDR like the GM product?

I really prefer the Mustang styling, but the stock 2 piece brakes, PDR, camber plates, electronic limited slip diff, mag ride, etc are all ready to go stock on 1SS 1LE. Just got a quote at 39k otd on one. What to do? Get both?

What I really want to know is how your current "2015 GT" listed in your signature is working at the track. What do you like/dislike about it? Why are you planning to change cars?

Damn it man!!!! I was really going to hold off but you remarked. LOL

sigintel,

2019 GT350 faster than the 2019 1SS 1LE? Hate to answer your question with another question but! 2019 SS/1LE spec out already?

Can the 2019 GT350 beat the 2019 ZL1 1LE? HMM!?! It sure can, with a blower. seeing as the current ZL1 is marginally faster than the R, I would say yes. LOL

Will Ford release a PDR like the GM product? WHat the heck is PDR man? PDR AHHH! perormance data recorder!

"Just got a quote at 39k otd on one." steal of a price for an SS/1LE and in case you are not aware the SS 1LE does not have CC plates only the ZL1 1LE does.

What to do? Get both? NAH! get an R

It is pretty well understood that the R is not as fast on the track as the 1LE. what most say (and I agree with) is that the R is a better all around track/street car that does both extremely well.

if you want something right here, right now that will be a pure track monster in the price range commensurate with this level of a car, the 1LE is the way to go. if you want a blower and higher performance than what the R can deliver, I would suggest waiting for the GT500.

If you have the $$, buy one of your choice and see what the 500 turns out to be down the road.

SS 1LE does not have camber plates from the factory. Only the ZL1 1LE has that. And a ZL1 1LE will shit all over the GT350 and 350R. I mean...it better. $5,000 shocks, 125 more horsepower, under 3900lbs, just as capable brakes, and wider tires that are damn near as sticky as 350R spec Cup 2 tires.

But I do agree with some of the other folks here, this is feeling facetious.

Being 100% objective, the 1SS 1LE Camaro is one helluva value for a track car and compares quite well with a 350. The data recorder that comes with it is nice, but not as full featured as a Aim Solo DL.

I wonder if GM will do another Transformers Bumble Bee Badge Edition once the new movie comes out this fall. Kids will love it!
