I finally went to the garage to look and see if my spacers were left in. I thought the car was riding nice. a little rough but I thought that was the nature of the beast. My first car in a long while. here is some pics. I'm going to talk to my local dealership to get them removed and reprogrammed if it needs. Ill stay in touch.

Wow. Ford should be contacting every R owner to check for spacers. That's unacceptable that dealers are delivering the cars with the spacers still on.

What if said owner explicitly requests not to PDI the car?

Good point about prepping. I let them prep. never asked them not to.

It looks like it may have hurt the shock in one pic.

What is that? I thought the R just had spacers for a few coils of the spring. I didn't know there was anything for the shock itself?

The 2015-2016 GT350 R has spacers in the front coil springs and rear shock absorbers that need to be removed at pre-delivery inspection. To remove the spacers, raise wheels off the ground and grasp the spacers and pull them out. The front spacers are yellow in color and are inserted into the springs, the rear spacers are white in color and are on the top of the shock absorbers. The spacers are required for transport and must be removed before delivery of the car to the customer.

SSM 45780 - 2016 Mustang GT350-R - Driver Selectable Suspension Malfunction Service Required Message With Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) C103E 4-27-2016
Some 2016 Mustang GT350-R vehicles may display Driver Selectable Suspension Malfunction Service Required in the instrument panel cluster message center along with DTC C103E:00 when driving with the spacer blocks removed and less than 160 Km (100 miles) on the odometer. Check the vehicle dynamics module (VDM) for the latest calibration using integrated diagnostic system (IDS). Make sure you are connected to the internet when entering module programming to obtain the latest updates. Calibration files may also be obtained at www.motorcraftservice.com. Raise the vehicle on a hoist, refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 100-02. Suspension must be unloaded with the wheel/tire assemblies hanging down. Perform the ride height sensor calibration routine. Follow the instructions in the IDS scan tool.

IMHO, this is not part of "PDI"... It's not an inspection. Removing props used for loading and unloading is insuring safe and proper function of the vehicle.

It's akin to taking your car out of transport mode.

Should be a mandatory procedure regardless of whether typical PDI should be wanted or not.

Why have the shock replaced?
Because the dealer didn't PDI it, it has been hammering the top of the shock like a bump stop. People paid a premium for the vehicle, why accept something like that?
