Hi guys,

Seeing which springs people are using on a 285/35/20 front and 315/35/20 tire setup and if you have any rubbing on hard bumps?

I'm running Steeda ultralight linears but had to put a spring spacer in the rear and the front is rubbing on really hard bumps going fast.

I think wheel offset and backspace is key. I have 275/35/20 and 315/35/20 lowered on steeda linear springs with tsw bathurst wheels with no rubbing. Alignment also plays a roll.

Those springs are .2" higher in the front too, I'm wondering if that would make the difference. How are they with evenness? My driver's side one is also sitting .5" lower then the passenger. Maybe I'll order the front pair.

I'm running 285/35 20's in front, 315/35/20's in back. Wheels are 10" wide in front, 11" wide in back. All four are +35 offset, lowered on an Eibach Pro-Kit. No rubbing anywhere when turning, going over bumps, turning with dips in the turn. Nowhere.

Interesting comments. 315/35R20 is 1" larger diameter than stock PP rear tires. With the OPs lowering (factoring in the spring spacers) you wouldn't be able to see the top of the tire, or it would be at exactly the height of the quarter panel lip.

BMR SP080. - best lowering springs I've ever had that retain factory ride comfort. I didnt even change the factory dampers. Super smooth comfortable ride.

Rare slight rub on fender liner, but only on the hardest of dips in the road. I can't remember the offsets.
