Hello

I decided to post also in the main section. so far without success.

I simply wanted to ask if any forum member know of any garage or someone that is accepting private work. that can install for me BMR lowering springs and cradle lockout kit, and possible "Full Tilt boogy" shifter reinforcement bracket for a fair price in central NJ anytime next week

The performance shops are at dealers rate. $120-40 an hour.

Thanks

I've run into the same thing. Good shops but the costs make using them prohibitive. Otherwise I'd use them quite a bit more.

You always get what you pay for.

I used Evolution Performance for my H-pipe.

Price was reasonable for first-class work. Car was treated great.

It's just over the Commodore Barry Bridge near Chester.

It is good you are happy with your install.
But paying someone $120 a hour for doing as straight forward job as H-pipe install. Is a bit excessive in my eyes.

I personally life in Iceland.
But I'm at the moment in New Jersey and wanted to have stuff installed on a Mustang I bought before I ship it to Iceland.

Iceland is overall a very expensive county and most everything is much more expensive than here in the US.
But labour seems to be very expensive in the Tri-state area.

Back home taking your car to the dealership is in the $120-140 range. But you can find a good local mechanic that has ton of experience maybe not performance work, in the $60-80 range.

Installing springs or bolt an exhaust is not really rocket science and any decent mechanic can easily do that.

I guess I have to simply take this stuff with me on the airplane as luggage when I fly home.
