Mine got hit in less than 24 hours while parked in the street overnight and I haven't given a single damn ever since. It was almost a blessing. My Daughter goes to the University of Wisconsin in Madison. Every time I am there I am amazed at how beat up every vehicle is that parks or drives around (new or old). I can't imagine how bad it is in NYC.. but, you know- it's just a car and they are meant to be driven. All of those cosmetic damages can be repaired at some point if you were to keep the car long term and have it be a collectible. I am not in the mode of having a collectible...even if it was- any cosmetic things can always be fixed. I have a client that restores Ferrari's and some of them are in pretty rough shape. The end game is to enjoy the car, drive it, have fun in it, make memories and not stress over it. I am having to embrace that attitude with mine. Slowly but surely I am learning to relax and enjoy.
