After 2 years on the list, the GT350/GT350R was knocked off the list by the Audi RS3. They did an interesting comparison article between the 2. It's seems like a good issue with lots of info.

Seriously considered RS3 for a moment....but just too expensive and the tire stagger is the wrong direction ;) (255 front, 235 rear).

They state the base price of the RS3 is a few $K less and they make quite the argument for the Audi (Chassis, interior, materials, quality, etc.). Although I'd love to get another 5 cylinder (I've owed all flavors of it in the past), it's only available with 2 pedals. I certainly wouldn't trade my GT350 - it's a keeper.

I like this line on the Audi though: "The body is so stout, if you hit a pothole, you feel bad for the pothole".

The RS3 is a bad mother clucker! But!!! My R goes no where! Ill just fiddle with my 8V A3. We also own a 18 Q5 and I must say the virtual cockpit is beautiful and user friendly, love it!

I owned 3 Audi's in my life, just managed to sell my last one. Never again, I hate them now. I managed to buy a nice BMW again for cheap, building it up now to a 400+ HP at the wheels. It feels almost like my previous M3 behind the wheel :)

Other than a John Buffum style Quattro, I’m no Audi fan but I’d say they got the tires right if they put the rubber on the heavy end of a front drive biased car

When I got my GT350 the RS3 was on the horizon but not available for purchase yet. I would have been torn between the two had the RS3 been available.

mmmmmmmm RS4
I guess I have a thing for high-revving NA cars.... Crazy, but I kinda split DD duties between it and the R right now. Work has a gated lot with a lot of space for parking....trips to the mall, the R stays home. I'm honestly torn as to which one I like best - for different reasons.

But yeah, Audi has come a long way and I'm very curious on the RS3. I'm halfway thinking of giving the RS4 a good detail and driving over to the dealer to see if they make me an offer I cant refuse.....but then the R would have to go. Only really have room in the budget for one $60k+ car.

I just read it. They're complaining about stiff "strings" and a rough ride quality. Um, it's not a Z28/ZL1

I've had two S4's and wish I had the chance to get an RS4....that V8 with a Milltek or AWE exhaust sounds amazing.....to say nothing about the car's capabilities as well....truly great ride
