Evolution Performance typically relies on BMR Suspension components for their customer builds. Naturally their super-star Fred Cook decided to outfit his very own MR equipped 2018 Mustang GT with the full BMR catalog except; springs.

Fred tried the 2 offerings that were available and each time contacted me to see if we had something better. Unfortunately the wait time since our design was finalized was lengthy BUT, we were able to get them shipped out last week and Fred's 3rd set of aftermarket springs DELIVERED! 3rd Time's a charm they say.

Fred instantly notified us to let us know the BMR spring set is exactly what he was looking for. The "horrible ride", bounciness and lack of handling improvement over the stock springs - FIXED!

We are happy to know our testing, development and design processes have paid dividends with our handling spring line, and are confident that there is no room for improvement over our new SPH765 MagneRide specific spring set.

Definitely in for rates and drop, looks great! I loved my SP080, if these stack up, I can definitely see myself rocking them with my new car

These springs were designed with one thing in mind; handling.

They have not been tested on anything other than GT with MR and GT350 cars.

The drops on the GT are coming in at approx. 0.700" F and R.

The drops on the GT350 cars are coming in at about 0.300" F and 0.450" R.

Spring Rates" Linear, 250F / 980R

The ride of these on the MR suspension is incredible. I have spent a good bit of time behind the wheel of MR equipped cars with them and it is just simply amazing.

Will these work on an ecoboost or would these not be recommended?

Work? Absolutely.

Have the stance you may be after? Not sure.

Kelly can you explain 'they were made for one thing...handling' and 'the ride is incredible'. Usually these extremes are mutually exclusive?

Firm is different than harsh. You can have a firm car that handles great but doesn't beat you up. That's what these are. Also one important thing outside of the nominal rates is the rate balance front and rear. The relative ride frequencies have a huge impact on the ride quality. See page 10 on the Spring rates sticky thread for a more detailed explanation.

I can tell you from having the same rate springs and well matched dampers to them that the ride is incredible. Sure, over large bumps, terrible roads it's not as forgiving as the stock GT Magneride springs (the overall rates are similar to the GT350 so there is actually an improvement). On anything but that, it's better. One up, one down. Composed. Doesn't jar you.

I wonder how these will compare to the ford performance gt350 springs. the drop looks pretty much the same. can you tell me? is there a difference in spring rate?
