Trying out some 305/35r19's on a 19x11 wheels on the back, with the stock 18x8 in front. So is the speed sensor at the front wheels? Do I need to adjust the tire size? Asking cause there's a lot of scamera vans around here lol. Thanks.

If I'm getting what your asking my friend, I'm not sure how these new cars register the speed. The old ones were through a cable connected to the transmission (yeah I'm old :) ). You could stop at one of the speed vans (if there's an actual Officer there), and ask the office if he would check your speed. I did that from time to time when running radar to help people out. Of course that was back in the day when "To protect, and to serve" meant something.

If that's not possible maybe your dealer could help you out.

Mine's in my butt, along with a G-meter. The only problem is mine are calibrated using my old cars and these new ones are going so much faster than they feel! LOL!

I'd often thought of stopping to ask an officer but never did. I've always reverted to traveling a known distance and checking my time. Like at 80 mph I think it's 46 seconds or something to travel one mile. So if it takes less or more I can start to go from there.

One thing to keep in mind is hwy speeds will be off a greater mph than lower speeds so keep that in mind if you either get checked by radar or known distance/time. Obviously the percentage stays the same.

Im wondering too. My fronts are now 275x40s and the cruise control will say 69 but the speedo look more like its 71. A small difference but it adds up on the tach.
