Just curious what you think of it and whether you have had any issues with GT350.

yes its great! I use the supplied rubber pads on the pinch welds. You just have to be careful with the side skirt and make sure it does not catch. I have a pic somewhere on this forum. with the car up and all wheels off.

Thanks, do you have the 5000 version or 7000? I think for $150 of difference, may as well get the 7000 version in case I need to lift a truck one day.

From videos, it looks extremely easy to use and very safe. Probably much safe than maxjack or regular jack stands. I have an 86" ceiling, I think this is my only option short of rebuilding my house.

I went with he 5k as as none of my vehicles exceed the capacity. My only complaint is that this product is marketed for its portability. By it's size it is very portable but not very easy to move about due to the weight. I am by no means am a wimpy guy but you are not going to be easily lifting these bad boys. Even worse if you opt for the 7k set.

I agree 100% Zitro...the first thing is did was make 4 small 10x10 inch plywood dollys with casters from the TSC store...I use one dolly at each end and roll them to where I need them...easy enough to take them off and on the dollys. Best 15$ I ever spent...

I like to disassemble things.
I looked at these and felt they were a pretty good bang for the buck. In the end, I chose something a little more robust, a Bendpak clear center low rise 6,000lb lift. Total weight of the two sides is about 850lbs and they have a legit certification. Got mine from NT...

My sometimes "Home Depot Orange" Race Red GT350. Or at least how my Droid sees it...

Bolted to the floor with 10 large anchors, each side is extra wide. Pump and reservoir mount to an upright bracket that you anchor to the floor, out of the way. You can use either 110v or 220v. I use 110v and am impressed with how quickly the unit raises. You also need compressed air to release the safety locks when lowering. A huge time saver.

Bumping this old thread, does anyone have the 7000 unit and have clearance issues with the tall block? Or 5000 unit?

Just wondering what is the total raised height from frame rails to floor , I have been contemplating between this and another company called ez lift .i know it will get the 350 high enough for basic stuff but I have a couple of fox bodies where I still might pull trans for clutch replacement .
