There should be no issues with the Steeda camber plates - where are you at in FL?

Delray Beach, we have been PM'ing each other this past week. Remember I am getting the springs, plates, and shock's struts soon.

Mind sharing your strut/spring combo?
I’m running the Ford performance track struts and shocks, and Ford “Y” springs.

circling back around on my previous comment... there is now a thud when hitting a bump or hole that causes the tire to drop quickly. The only change has been the introduction of camber plates. Maybe something has loosened as things settle.

That description made me do a double take because I thought it was me at first. That’s the same exact phenomenon I was experiencing.

Steeda camber plates do not make noises or thuds when installed correctly. We have sold thousands of plates without any issues for nearly 30 years.

I understand it’s not the actual plates, but since their introduction... something is loose and the plates seem to be exacerbating the problem.

Are you by any chances hitting the bumpstops?

Since you are in South Fl, I would be more than happy to identify the noise with you and have a corrective action.

That would be excellent, Pompano actually Installed the plates and a few other items (Rodney). I stopped and had the tech that did the work (shop bay up by the road) tighten the left stut nut and that helped a little but it’s coming back again.
